The primary purpose of WITT is to enable women to network with industry colleagues.

‘Network’ means creating useful contacts for oneself by talking and interacting with others’.

WITT aims to assist women to develop their businesses both within the State and nationally. It will give women an organised voice in the industry. It will stimulate good ideas in learning, teamwork and communications.

Socially, the members will come together bi-month as friends to help one another, network together and to hear addresses from carefully selected speakers.

Through membership forums, events and the WITT profile, WITT aims to support and raise awareness for approved charities or aid organisations.

The annual membership fee is $75 per year and is open to all women working or studying in the tourism, travel or hospitality industry in Tasmania.
